Why ask how many packages an IKEA item has?

One product can come in several packages, each with its own size and weight that count toward shipping.

Is MarkaShip affiliated with IKEA?

No. It is an independent buying and shipping service; the brand sets stock, prices and sale and return terms.

What is worth ordering from IKEA Türkiye for Jordan

IKEA has an online store for the Turkish market showing furniture, textiles, kitchenware, lighting, storage and decor, and the range and prices may differ from the brand’s stores in Jordan. Small, light items suit international shipping better than large furniture. The land route to Jordan suits bulky parcels better than air, but each parcel’s dimensions and weight still drive the cost, so ask for them before buying.

Pinning down the item and its packages

Every IKEA product has a numeric article number on its page, and some products come in more than one flat pack. Send the link, article number, color and size, and ask for the number of packages and each one’s weight and dimensions before buying.

How a IKEA order reaches Jordan

Do not assume the Turkish site delivers to Jordan directly; delivery and payment options appear at checkout. The order goes to the receiving address in Türkiye, then is checked and consolidated with your other purchases. Jordan is served by land through Syria or by sea to Aqaba depending on the shipment; Amman, Irbid and Zarqa get home delivery, and Aqaba is the entry point for bulkier shipments. There is no fixed published rate for Jordan; cost and schedule are confirmed before departure.

Preparing to receive in Jordan

Write your Jordan address with city, area, street, building number and a nearby landmark, plus the recipient name and an active phone number. Keep the store invoice and make sure the content description and value are correct. Import requirements and duties are set by Jordan Customs. Shipping is charged on the greater of actual and dimensional weight, and long flat packs raise the dimensional weight even when light. Compare the price including shipping with the same item in your local store if there is one, and combine small items in one parcel.
