What shipping to Damascus costs

Per the published southern-governorate table: medium carton $20, large carton $25, cubic metre $85 and ton $250, excluding customs. A worked example from the table: three large cartons to Damascus come to $75 before customs. Ask which unit applies to your shipment before calculating.

Why Damascus costs more than Aleppo

The table has three zones from north to south: a medium carton is $15 to the north (Idlib, Aleppo), $17 to the centre (Homs, Hama) and $20 to Damascus, so do not price a Damascus parcel with Aleppo rates or the reverse.

When shipments leave for Damascus

The Syria line runs by land. Shipments to the northern governorates leave almost daily, while the south, including Damascus, is served on a regular schedule. Your parcel may therefore wait for the next departure after consolidation. Ask for the expected date in the quote and close consolidation before departure.

Preparing to receive in Damascus

Give the recipient name, an active phone, the neighbourhood and a nearby landmark. Areas around Damascus not named in the table have their price and delivery confirmed in the quote. General-goods prices exclude customs, while cosmetics have a separate per-kilo table including customs starting at 30 kg.
