Shipping Fabrics from Turkey to The UAE: Cost and Time

There are two ways to ship fabrics from Turkey to the UAE: buy them yourself and send them to your Turkish address with your box number, or send the links and we buy them for you with Buy for Me for an 8% commission on the product value. The parcel flies from Istanbul, and transit is about 3 to 5 days and can reach a week once the shipment leaves. Turkish brands are often cheaper in Turkey than the same items in stores in the UAE, especially during sales, so compare the total with commission and shipping before ordering.

Two ways to ship fabrics to the UAE

If you buy fabrics yourself from a store that delivers inside Turkey, enter the receiving-centre address with your name and box number, and the order is logged to your account. If the store rejects your card or asks for a Turkish phone, send the links with Buy for Me. Parcels stay free at the warehouse for up to 30 days so you can combine orders.

Transit time and mode

The parcel flies from Istanbul, and transit is about 3 to 5 days and can reach a week once the shipment leaves, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.

How the price is worked out

Shipping is charged on the greater of actual and dimensional weight after packing, so you estimate it first in the shipping calculator and the figure is fixed after weighing at the warehouse, before dispatch. Heavy fabrics such as curtain and upholstery cloth are usually charged on weight and light ones such as chiffon on volume, so ask for pieces to be folded tightly rather than rolled on long tubes unless the fabric creases.

Quantity, colour and samples

Order by the metre with a cutting margin, quote the colour code from the store page since screen colour differs from real colour, and ask for a small sample first for larger quantities. Check metres and colour at the warehouse before closing. Charges may apply in the UAE by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
