Two ways to ship Turkish sweets to Kuwait
If you buy Turkish sweets yourself from a store that delivers inside Turkey, enter the receiving-centre address with your name and box number, and the order is logged to your account. If the store rejects your card or asks for a Turkish phone, send the links with Buy for Me. Parcels stay free at the warehouse for up to 30 days so you can combine orders.
Transit time and mode
The parcel flies from Istanbul, and transit is about 3 to 5 days and can reach a week once the shipment leaves, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Kuwait City, Hawalli, Farwaniya and Jahra and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.
How the price is worked out
Shipping is charged on the greater of actual and dimensional weight after packing, so you estimate it first in the shipping calculator and the figure is fixed after weighing at the warehouse, before dispatch. Turkish delight and tinned baklava are fairly heavy for their size, so the parcel is usually charged on actual weight; fresh baklava does not suit shipping because of its short shelf life, so choose sealed long-life tins.
Packs, shelf life and heat
Order products in their original sealed factory packs, clearly labelled with ingredients and expiry date, with enough shelf life after arrival. Every country has rules on importing food, even for personal use, so ask about the allowed quantity before buying. Chocolate melts in the heat, so avoid shipping it in the hottest summer months. Charges may apply in Kuwait by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
