What you pay when the order is confirmed
When the order is confirmed, the item price and the service commission are charged. Exchange rates are updated daily, so the final price may differ slightly from the one shown. Shipping is not paid at this stage, because the final weight is not yet known.
Why shipping is set after weighing
Because shipping is charged on the higher of actual or volumetric weight, and volumetric weight depends on the parcel’s dimensions after packing. If you consolidate orders from several stores into one box, the final weight is only known once the last one arrives and consolidation is closed.
Does the calculator give the final price?
The calculator is a pre-purchase estimate from the weight and dimensions you enter. The final figure comes after actual weighing at the consolidation centre. For Syria there is a published table per carton, cubic metre and tonne by governorate, excluding customs, fixed per shipment once the goods are known.
What happens if shipping is not paid
The terms say shipping costs must be paid before the shipment is sent, so the parcel stays at the consolidation centre until payment. Follow your account after closing consolidation, check the cost and address, then pay so the parcel leaves on the next shipment to your country.
