How many tea cups should a family of six order?

Six for the family and two for guests, so two sets of six unless an eight-piece set exists.

How are cups with handles packed?

Each is wrapped alone and set upside down in a row, with cardboard between rows.

Does a stand raise the shipping cost?

It can, since it is bulky, so choose the set without a stand if you do not need one.

Karaca Tea Sets to Syria: Cups and Carton

Count cups by seatings, not by the sets on display: your household plus one or two guests per round. Open the set page on Karaca Türkiye and note the cup and saucer count and whether the set has a stand, then send the link through Buy for Me so the team works out the carton and shows the cost to Syria before payment.

How many cups you really need

Write down how many people usually sit for tea at home and add two for guests, and that is the number of cups required. Tea sets often come in six or twelve pieces, so if you need nine cups, two sets cover it and leave two spare, because cups are what breaks most often at home.

Cups in the carton

A cup with a handle is harder to pack than a plain one because the handle is the weak point. Each piece is wrapped separately and cups sit upside down in rows, with cardboard between the rows. Write in the order note that the carton holds glass and ceramics so it is marked before it leaves.

Stands and trays

A set with a stand or tray adds more volume than weight, and land shipping to Syria is charged on the greater of actual and dimensional weight. Ask yourself whether you need the stand at all, and if not, pick the set without one and save space in the carton.

Carton rates to Syria

Shipping to Syria runs by land through Turkish border crossings, and MarkaShip publishes reference rates in USD excluding customs: a medium carton (60×40×40 cm up to 15 kg) is $15 to the north (Idlib, Aleppo), $17 to the center (Homs, Hama) and $20 to the south (Damascus); a large carton (80×50×50 cm up to 30 kg) is $20, $23 and $25. Rates are confirmed per shipment. Published rates exclude customs, so current import and carrier rules for the actual goods still apply.
