How the two differ
Modanisa is an online platform specializing in modest fashion that shows ranges from several brands, so you can compare cuts and prices in one place. Armine is a brand with its own range and style, which suits someone who knows what to expect from it. The choice is between the variety of comparison and consistency of style.
How to choose size and fabric
Measure bust, shoulders, sleeve length and garment length in centimeters and compare them with the chart of the item itself, since sizes do not match across the brands shown. Read the fabric composition: thick fabrics add weight to the parcel while light ones crease easily. Ask for a backup size only where the item page allows it, as returns after arrival are hard.
What is specific to buying for Syria
The parcel to Syria is priced by governorate and carton size: a medium carton (60×40×40 cm up to 15 kg) is $15 to the north, $17 to the center and $20 to the south, and a large carton (80×50×50 cm up to 30 kg) is $20, $23 and $25, in MarkaShip’s reference table excluding customs. Heavy winter coats and abayas enlarge the carton in weight and volume, so combine both orders first then pick the cheaper carton, and keep light-colored pieces away from moisture in a sealed bag.
How orders ship and arrive
Shipping to Syria runs by land through Turkish border crossings, and MarkaShip publishes reference rates in USD excluding customs: a medium carton (60×40×40 cm up to 15 kg) is $15 to the north (Idlib, Aleppo), $17 to the center (Homs, Hama) and $20 to the south (Damascus); a large carton (80×50×50 cm up to 30 kg) is $20, $23 and $25. Rates are confirmed per shipment. Write your Syria address with city, area and a nearby landmark, plus the recipient name and an active phone number. Keep the seller invoices. Published rates exclude customs, so current import and carrier rules for the actual goods still apply.
