Two ways to ship clay cooking pots and guvec dishes to Jordan

If you buy clay cooking pots and guvec dishes yourself from a store that delivers inside Turkey, enter the receiving-centre address with your name and box number, and the order is logged to your account. If the store rejects your card or asks for a Turkish phone, send the links with Buy for Me. Parcels stay free at the warehouse for up to 30 days so you can combine orders.

Transit time and mode

It goes by land or sea depending on the shipment: land takes about two weeks and sea one to two months, with the mode and schedule fixed before departure, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.

How the price is worked out

The cost follows weight, volume and shipping mode and is fixed together with the schedule before departure; you can estimate the parcel first in the shipping calculator. Clay is fragile and mid-weight, so ask for double bubble wrap and a sturdy carton for each piece, combine it with other cookware, and land is cheaper for large sets.

Preparing before first use

Soak an unglazed clay pot in water before first use, and put it in a cold oven then raise the heat gradually so it does not crack. Avoid a direct flame unless it is marked as hob safe. Charges may apply in Jordan by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
