Transit time and mode

The parcel flies from Istanbul, and transit is about 3 to 5 days and can reach a week once the shipment leaves, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Manama, Muharraq, Riffa and Isa Town and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.

How the price is worked out

Shipping is charged on the greater of actual and dimensional weight after packing, so you estimate it first in the shipping calculator and the figure is fixed after weighing at the warehouse, before dispatch. Dried vegetables are very light once the water is gone, but strung garlands take space and break easily, so ask for compressed packs or put the strings in a carton box so they arrive whole.

Soaking and stuffing

Soak dried aubergine and peppers in boiled water for a few minutes until soft, then stuff them as usual, and pick pieces of similar size so they cook evenly. Prefer sealed packs with an expiry date, and ask the competent authority in your country about food import rules. Charges may apply in Bahrain by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
