Two ways to ship qanuns (kanun zithers) to Saudi Arabia

If you buy qanuns (kanun zithers) yourself from a store that delivers inside Turkey, enter the receiving-centre address with your name and box number, and the order is logged to your account. If the store rejects your card or asks for a Turkish phone, send the links with Buy for Me. Parcels stay free at the warehouse for up to 30 days so you can combine orders.

Transit time and mode

The parcel flies from Istanbul, and transit is about 3 to 5 days and can reach a week once the shipment leaves, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Makkah and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.

How the price is worked out

Shipping is charged on the greater of actual and dimensional weight after packing, so you estimate it first in the shipping calculator and the figure is fixed after weighing at the warehouse, before dispatch. A qanun is large, flat and delicate, and cost is often by volumetric weight; ask for a hard case inside a padded carton with strings slightly slackened, and land is cheaper if not urgent.

Turkish and Arabic qanun

Turkish kanuns have more mandal levers for fine microtonal tuning, while Arabic qanuns differ in lever count and size. Choose by the maqams you play, and ask for a sound clip or video before buying. Charges may apply in Saudi Arabia by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
