What to order from Doğtaş Türkiye for Syria

Doğtaş is a Turkish home furniture brand: bedroom, living and dining sets, kids furniture, coffee tables, accessories and home textiles. Many shoppers want designs not available in Syria, but the decision starts with the size of the piece, not its photo. The land route to Syria suits bulky parcels better than air, but each parcel’s dimensions and weight still drive the cost, so ask for them before buying.

What to ask for before buying

Ask for the number of parcels per piece, each parcel’s dimensions and weight, the frame and fabric material, and whether it needs assembly by a technician. Measure doorways, corridors and lifts at home, and give the set name and fabric color exactly as on the page.

How a Doğtaş order reaches Syria

Do not assume the Turkish site delivers to Syria directly; delivery and payment options appear at checkout. The order goes to the receiving address in Türkiye, then is checked and consolidated with your other purchases. Shipping to Syria runs by land through Turkish border crossings, and MarkaShip publishes reference rates in USD excluding customs: a medium carton (60×40×40 cm up to 15 kg) is $15 to the north (Idlib, Aleppo), $17 to the center (Homs, Hama) and $20 to the south (Damascus); a large carton (80×50×50 cm up to 30 kg) is $20, $23 and $25. Rates are confirmed per shipment.

Preparing to receive in Syria

Write your Syria address with city, area and a nearby landmark, plus the recipient name and an active phone number. Keep the store invoice and make sure the content description and value are correct. Published rates exclude customs, so current import and carrier rules for the actual goods still apply. Large furniture is heavy and bulky, so shipping can exceed the price difference, charged on the greater of actual and dimensional weight. Ask for a detailed estimate per parcel before paying, compare it with local prices, and start with small pieces and accessories if you want to test.
