Why order from D&R Türkiye for Syria

D&R is a Turkish retail chain for books, music, toys, stationery, electronics and gifts, and many shoppers order Turkish-learning books, children’s books and educational toys from it. These Turkish editions are not usually available in Syria. Books are heavy for their size, so gather them in one order that ships by land to Syria instead of scattered ones.

Ordering the right Turkish-learning book

State the level you need and ask for the matching workbook if there is one, then send the direct link, title, author, publisher and edition number or ISBN if shown, since one book may come in several editions and covers.

How a D&R order reaches Syria

Do not assume the Turkish site delivers to Syria directly; delivery and payment options appear at checkout. The order goes to the receiving address in Türkiye, then is checked and consolidated with your other purchases. Shipping to Syria runs by land through Turkish border crossings, and MarkaShip publishes reference rates in USD excluding customs: a medium carton (60×40×40 cm up to 15 kg) is $15 to the north (Idlib, Aleppo), $17 to the center (Homs, Hama) and $20 to the south (Damascus); a large carton (80×50×50 cm up to 30 kg) is $20, $23 and $25. Rates are confirmed per shipment.

Preparing to receive in Syria

Write your Syria address with city, area and a nearby landmark, plus the recipient name and an active phone number. Keep the store invoice and make sure the content description and value are correct. Published rates exclude customs, so current import and carrier rules for the actual goods still apply. Toys with batteries and electronics have special lithium battery shipping conditions, so ask before buying and check the age group and warnings on toys. Ask for packing that protects corners and covers from bending, and books can be combined with idefix purchases for Syria.
