Is breakage compensated if a piece breaks on the way?

Ask customer service about the breakage policy before buying and keep photos of the parcel when you open it, since glass is fragile and damage terms vary.

How much spare should I allow when counting pieces?

Buying one or two extra of the most used glasses is cheaper than waiting for a new order.

Can I combine a Paşabahçe order and a Karaca order in one parcel?

Yes. After the orders reach the receiving address in Türkiye they are checked and combined in one parcel before shipping to your country.

Paşabahçe or Karaca Tableware for the Gulf

Paşabahçe is best for glasses and glass plates for hospitality and daily use, and Karaca is best for cookware sets, pans and serving tools. Do not compare by name, compare by what will go on your table. What matters with glass and ceramics is breakage and weight, and what follows handles it for each Gulf country in turn.

UAE: hosting large families

In the UAE guests come in large numbers and on repeated occasions, so count glasses and plates for your usual guest number, not your daily number. Large glass sets are heavy, so ask for each piece wrapped in bubble wrap. The parcel flies to Dubai or Abu Dhabi and is delivered to your door.

Qatar: coffee and tea sets for the majlis

A Qatari majlis needs plenty of coffee cups, tea glasses and serving plates, and Paşabahçe offers these at fair prices while Karaca gives you elegant gift sets. The parcel passes Hamad airport and is delivered in Doha, Al Rayyan and Al Wakrah.

Bahrain: small kitchens and storage

Kitchens in many Bahrain flats are small, so buy stackable glasses and plates instead of big sets. Ask for the glass in the parcel to be split into small boxes within one shipment, and write building, road and block in the address.

Oman: a rough road and breakage

The long road leg after Muscat is the greatest danger for glass, so ask for dense padding and a double box for heavy pieces. Do not pack glass in one box with light fabrics, keep the boxes separate. State governorate, wilayat and neighborhood.
