Two ways to ship abayas to Syria

If you buy abayas yourself from a store that delivers inside Turkey, enter the receiving-centre address with your name and box number, and the order is logged to your account. If the store rejects your card or asks for a Turkish phone, send the links with Buy for Me. Parcels stay free at the warehouse for up to 30 days so you can combine orders.

Transit time and mode

The parcel travels by land from Turkey, and transit is about two weeks once the shipment leaves, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.

How the price is worked out

Syria has published reference rates by region; a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) runs from 15 US dollars for the northern governorates to 20 for Damascus, customs excluded, and the price is confirmed per shipment. Abayas and scarves are light and fold small, so several pieces fit one carton without raising the cost much, while coats and heavy jilbabs take more space.

Length and fabric

Turkish modest fashion is often sold by length and size together, so measure from shoulder to heel and compare with the store’s chart, and read the fabric (crepe, chiffon or cotton) and whether it needs a lining. Ask for colour and length to be checked on arrival before closing. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
