How the price is worked out

Syria has published reference rates by region; a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) runs from 15 US dollars for the northern governorates to 20 for Damascus, customs excluded, and the price is confirmed per shipment. Bookshelves are heavy and bulky and cost follows size and weight; order them flat-packed, land or sea is cheaper for large units, and combine several furniture pieces in one shipment.

Sizes and wall fixing

Measure wall height and space width before ordering, and check the shelf depth suits your books. Tall bookcases need wall fixing to prevent tipping, especially in kids rooms, so make sure the fixing kit is included. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
