Two ways to ship camping gear to Syria

If you buy camping gear yourself from a store that delivers inside Turkey, enter the receiving-centre address with your name and box number, and the order is logged to your account. If the store rejects your card or asks for a Turkish phone, send the links with Buy for Me. Parcels stay free at the warehouse for up to 30 days so you can combine orders.

Transit time and mode

The parcel travels by land from Turkey, and transit is about two weeks once the shipment leaves, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.

How the price is worked out

Syria has published reference rates by region; a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) runs from 15 US dollars for the northern governorates to 20 for Damascus, customs excluded, and the price is confirmed per shipment. Tents and folding chairs and tables are fairly bulky, so they are usually charged on dimensional weight, while sleeping bags compress into their sacks; combine items in one parcel and price them before buying.

Gas and restricted items

Gas canisters for stoves, lighters and some solid fuels face shipping restrictions and usually cannot go in parcels, so buy them locally. Stoves without gas ship more easily. Order well before the camping season. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
