Two ways to ship chandeliers and lamps to Syria

If you buy chandeliers and lamps yourself from a store that delivers inside Turkey, enter the receiving-centre address with your name and box number, and the order is logged to your account. If the store rejects your card or asks for a Turkish phone, send the links with Buy for Me. Parcels stay free at the warehouse for up to 30 days so you can combine orders.

Transit time and mode

The parcel travels by land from Turkey, and transit is about two weeks once the shipment leaves, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.

How the price is worked out

Syria has published reference rates by region; a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) runs from 15 US dollars for the northern governorates to 20 for Damascus, customs excluded, and the price is confirmed per shipment. Chandeliers are fairly light but come in large padded boxes, so they are usually charged on dimensional weight; ask for the box dimensions before buying, while small lamps are better value to ship.

Packing and voltage

Ask for the chandelier to stay in its factory box with inserts, each crystal piece wrapped separately, a fragile mark and a photo after packing. Make sure the voltage and bulb type suit your country, and use a local electrician to install it. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
