Two ways to ship curtains to Syria

If you buy curtains yourself from a store that delivers inside Turkey, enter the receiving-centre address with your name and box number, and the order is logged to your account. If the store rejects your card or asks for a Turkish phone, send the links with Buy for Me. Parcels stay free at the warehouse for up to 30 days so you can combine orders.

Transit time and mode

The parcel travels by land from Turkey, and transit is about two weeks once the shipment leaves, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.

How the price is worked out

Syria has published reference rates by region; a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) runs from 15 US dollars for the northern governorates to 20 for Damascus, customs excluded, and the price is confirmed per shipment. Heavy curtains such as blackout and velvet are usually charged on weight, while tulle is light and small once folded, so ask for them to be folded tightly in bags rather than large boxes.

Measuring and made-to-measure

Measure the window or rail width and the drop from the hanging point to the floor, and add the fullness the store asks for. Made-to-measure curtains usually cannot be returned, so check sizes twice before ordering and ask how long making takes. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
