Two ways to ship fruit bowls and baskets to Syria

If you buy fruit bowls and baskets yourself from a store that delivers inside Turkey, enter the receiving-centre address with your name and box number, and the order is logged to your account. If the store rejects your card or asks for a Turkish phone, send the links with Buy for Me. Parcels stay free at the warehouse for up to 30 days so you can combine orders.

Transit time and mode

The parcel travels by land from Turkey, and transit is about two weeks once the shipment leaves, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.

How the price is worked out

Syria has published reference rates by region; a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) runs from 15 US dollars for the northern governorates to 20 for Damascus, customs excluded, and the price is confirmed per shipment. Metal baskets are fairly light, so air suits them, while glass, crystal and ceramic bowls are heavy and fragile, so ask for double packing with inner dividers; land is cheaper for sets and large pieces.

Material and size

Glass and crystal look elegant for guests but are heavy, an open metal basket lets air through so fruit keeps longer, and a two-tier stand saves table space. Check the diameter and height on the product page, as photos sometimes make bowls look larger than they are. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
