Two ways to ship Turkish hazelnuts to Syria

If you buy Turkish hazelnuts yourself from a store that delivers inside Turkey, enter the receiving-centre address with your name and box number, and the order is logged to your account. If the store rejects your card or asks for a Turkish phone, send the links with Buy for Me. Parcels stay free at the warehouse for up to 30 days so you can combine orders.

Transit time and mode

The parcel travels by land from Turkey, and transit is about two weeks once the shipment leaves, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.

How the price is worked out

Syria has published reference rates by region; a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) runs from 15 US dollars for the northern governorates to 20 for Damascus, customs excluded, and the price is confirmed per shipment. Hazelnuts are dry food and fairly light, so ask for sealed vacuum packs with origin labels and expiry dates, air suits home quantities so they arrive fresh, and check your country food import rules.

Roasted, raw and paste

Turkey is one of the largest hazelnut producers, mostly from the Black Sea coast. Roasted ones are for snacking, raw blanched ones for baking, and hazelnut paste for spreads and cakes; store opened packs away from heat and damp. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
