Two ways to ship Turkish jams and preserves to Syria

If you buy Turkish jams and preserves yourself from a store that delivers inside Turkey, enter the receiving-centre address with your name and box number, and the order is logged to your account. If the store rejects your card or asks for a Turkish phone, send the links with Buy for Me. Parcels stay free at the warehouse for up to 30 days so you can combine orders.

Transit time and mode

The parcel travels by land from Turkey, and transit is about two weeks once the shipment leaves, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.

How the price is worked out

Syria has published reference rates by region; a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) runs from 15 US dollars for the northern governorates to 20 for Damascus, customs excluded, and the price is confirmed per shipment. Jams are fairly heavy in glass jars and cost follows weight; ask for each jar wrapped in foam and a sealed bag, combine them with honey and Turkish sweets in one parcel, and land is cheaper for larger orders.

Turkish breakfast and food rules

Rose, fig and sour cherry jams are Turkish breakfast favourites. Jams ship in sealed factory jars with expiry dates, and each country has its own food import rules, so ask about allowed quantities first. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
