Two ways to ship kids’ furniture to Syria

If you buy kids’ furniture yourself from a store that delivers inside Turkey, enter the receiving-centre address with your name and box number, and the order is logged to your account. If the store rejects your card or asks for a Turkish phone, send the links with Buy for Me. Parcels stay free at the warehouse for up to 30 days so you can combine orders.

Transit time and mode

The parcel travels by land from Turkey, and transit is about two weeks once the shipment leaves, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.

How the price is worked out

Syria has published reference rates by region; a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) runs from 15 US dollars for the northern governorates to 20 for Damascus, customs excluded, and the price is confirmed per shipment. Kids’ furniture is bulky even flat-packed, so it is charged on dimensional weight and land or sea freight may suit better than air; ask for the number and dimensions of cartons and price them in the shipping calculator before buying.

Cartons, assembly and safety

Ask for a list of all cartons, since one piece can come in several, and make sure they all arrive together with screws and the assembly guide. Choose pieces that meet child-safety standards, and ask for the cartons to be checked on arrival before closing. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
