Two ways to ship salt and pepper mills to Syria

If you buy salt and pepper mills yourself from a store that delivers inside Turkey, enter the receiving-centre address with your name and box number, and the order is logged to your account. If the store rejects your card or asks for a Turkish phone, send the links with Buy for Me. Parcels stay free at the warehouse for up to 30 days so you can combine orders.

Transit time and mode

The parcel travels by land from Turkey, and transit is about two weeks once the shipment leaves, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.

How the price is worked out

Syria has published reference rates by region; a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) runs from 15 US dollars for the northern governorates to 20 for Damascus, customs excluded, and the price is confirmed per shipment. Wooden and stainless mills are fairly light, while glass ones need good protective packing; ask for them to ship empty, as salt and pepper add weight and need not travel.

Grinder type and use

A ceramic mechanism works for both salt and pepper because it does not rust, while steel suits pepper only. Look for adjustable coarseness and a wide base if it will stay on the table. These are manual; for electric ones, check the battery or plug for your country. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
