Two ways to ship porcelain dinnerware to Syria

Transit time and mode

The parcel travels by land from Turkey, and transit is about two weeks once the shipment leaves, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.

How the price is worked out

Syria has published reference rates by region; a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) runs from 15 US dollars for the northern governorates to 20 for Damascus, customs excluded, and the price is confirmed per shipment. Porcelain sets are heavy and need protective padding that adds volume, so they are usually charged on the greater of weight and volume; ask for the set weight and box dimensions and price it in the shipping calculator before buying.

Anti-breakage packing

It is best for a set to stay in its factory box with dividers, inside an extra outer carton with padding that stops movement and a fragile mark. Ask for the pieces to be counted, checked and photographed at the warehouse before closing, and keep the photos for any claim. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
