Two ways to ship prayer rugs to Syria

If you buy prayer rugs yourself from a store that delivers inside Turkey, enter the receiving-centre address with your name and box number, and the order is logged to your account. If the store rejects your card or asks for a Turkish phone, send the links with Buy for Me. Parcels stay free at the warehouse for up to 30 days so you can combine orders.

Transit time and mode

The parcel travels by land from Turkey, and transit is about two weeks once the shipment leaves, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.

How the price is worked out

Syria has published reference rates by region; a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) runs from 15 US dollars for the northern governorates to 20 for Damascus, customs excluded, and the price is confirmed per shipment. A single prayer rug is light, but gift or mosque quantities add weight, and thick padded rugs take more space, so price the quantity in the shipping calculator before buying.

Folding, packing and quantities

Thin rugs are folded, while thick padded ones are rolled so they do not keep fold marks. Gift sets with prayer beads and boxes take space, so decide whether you need the boxes. For large quantities, ask for count and colours to be checked at the warehouse before closing. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
