Two ways to ship rolling pins and dough tools to Syria

If you buy rolling pins and dough tools yourself from a store that delivers inside Turkey, enter the receiving-centre address with your name and box number, and the order is logged to your account. If the store rejects your card or asks for a Turkish phone, send the links with Buy for Me. Parcels stay free at the warehouse for up to 30 days so you can combine orders.

Transit time and mode

The parcel travels by land from Turkey, and transit is about two weeks once the shipment leaves, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.

How the price is worked out

Syria has published reference rates by region; a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) runs from 15 US dollars for the northern governorates to 20 for Damascus, customs excluded, and the price is confirmed per shipment. A long wooden rolling pin is light but long, so ask for it to be packed straight so it does not snap, combine it with baklava trays and dessert moulds in one parcel, and air suits a few pieces.

Length by dough type

Baklava and gozleme sheets need a thin long pin of up to about a metre to roll very thin, while a short thick pin suits pastry and biscuit dough. Choose a smooth hardwood that does not absorb moisture. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
