Two ways to ship salad bowls and serving bowls to Syria

If you buy salad bowls and serving bowls yourself from a store that delivers inside Turkey, enter the receiving-centre address with your name and box number, and the order is logged to your account. If the store rejects your card or asks for a Turkish phone, send the links with Buy for Me. Parcels stay free at the warehouse for up to 30 days so you can combine orders.

Transit time and mode

The parcel travels by land from Turkey, and transit is about two weeks once the shipment leaves, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.

How the price is worked out

Syria has published reference rates by region; a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) runs from 15 US dollars for the northern governorates to 20 for Damascus, customs excluded, and the price is confirmed per shipment. Large salad bowls take more volume than weight, so nest them with paper or bubble wrap between each pair; glass and ceramic need a fragile mark, while wood is lighter and safer in transit.

Material and size

Glass shows off the salad and washes easily, ceramic is sturdier and looks better on the table, and wood needs hand washing and drying. Pick a diameter that suits your household, and some sets include a large bowl, small bowls and two servers. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
