Two ways to ship smart plugs and smart home devices to Syria

If you buy smart plugs and smart home devices yourself from a store that delivers inside Turkey, enter the receiving-centre address with your name and box number, and the order is logged to your account. If the store rejects your card or asks for a Turkish phone, send the links with Buy for Me. Parcels stay free at the warehouse for up to 30 days so you can combine orders.

Transit time and mode

The parcel travels by land from Turkey, and transit is about two weeks once the shipment leaves, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.

How the price is worked out

Syria has published reference rates by region; a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) runs from 15 US dollars for the northern governorates to 20 for Damascus, customs excluded, and the price is confirmed per shipment. Smart plugs and bulbs are light and small, so combine them with LED strips and security cameras in one parcel; air is usually the best fit.

Plug type and app

Smart plugs in Turkey use the European shape, so check they fit your sockets or look for the UK type where offered. Make sure the app works in your country and with your voice assistant, and that 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is supported. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
