Is shipping to Syria charged by the kilo?

A carton has one price per zone whatever it weighs, so the cost per kilo falls as it fills.

How long can I wait to fill the carton?

The warehouse stores your orders free for 30 days, so gather them in that period and ship together.

Do these figures include customs?

No, the published carton prices exclude customs and are confirmed per shipment once the details are known.

Half-Empty Carton to Syria: Cost per Kilo

The carton price to Syria is fixed whatever the weight inside, so the kilo gets cheaper as the carton fills. A large carton to Damascus at $25 costs $0.83 per kilo when filled with 30 kg, but $1.67 per kilo when it holds only 15 kg. So gather your orders before shipping if you are not in a hurry.

The price is per carton, not per kilo

In MarkaShip’s Syria reference table the medium carton (60×40×40 cm up to 15 kg) and the large carton (80×50×50 cm up to 30 kg) each have one price per zone, whether they carry half the maximum weight or all of it. So your cost per kilo is the carton price divided by the weight you put in, and it falls as the carton nears its maximum.

Examples from the published numbers

A large carton to Aleppo ($20): $0.67 per kilo at 30 kg, $1.00 at 20 kg and $1.33 at 15 kg. To Homs ($23): $0.77, $1.15 and $1.53. To Damascus ($25): $0.83, $1.25 and $1.67. A medium carton to Damascus ($20): $1.33 at 15 kg and $2.00 at 10 kg. A half-filled large carton to Damascus costs more per kilo than a full medium one.

How to fill the carton before shipping

You do not have to order everything at once. Your store orders reach MarkaShip’s warehouse in Türkiye, which offers free storage for 30 days, so you can buy one piece today and another two weeks later and ship them together. Ask the team for the weight that has arrived so far, and add what is missing to fill a large carton instead of paying for a whole carton to carry half.

When not to wait

If the piece is for an occasion with a date, or the item may rise in price at the store or sell out, ship now and pay for the smaller carton it fits in. Remember that light and wide goods such as pillows and winter clothes fill a carton by volume before weight, so do not calculate by weight alone. Published rates are reference rates excluding customs, and are confirmed per shipment once the contents and destination are known.
