Your Data on MarkaShip: What Is Collected, Shared
According to its privacy policy, MarkaShip collects your name, email, phone, delivery address, account details and language preference, and uses them to fulfil orders, contact you about shipments and provide support. What does MarkaShip collect?
The service collects your personal information: name, email address, phone number and delivery address, plus account information such as login details and language preference. This is what is needed to prepare an order and deliver it to your address in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Syria or the other countries served.
Why is your data used?
The policy says it is used to process orders and purchases, contact you about order and shipment status, provide customer service and support, improve the service, send important account notifications and meet legal requirements. It states that your personal information will not be sold.
Who can see it?
It is shared with carriers to deliver shipments, with Stripe to process payments securely (MarkaShip does not receive your card details), and with Cloudflare for hosting the site and app and storing data. The policy also names Apple and Google when you sign in with their accounts, Expo for app notifications, and legal authorities when required by law.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, request deletion of, object to the processing of, and port your data. You can delete your account at any time from the app or from the delete-account page. The policy names MarkaShip e.U. in Vienna as the data controller, and you may complain to the Austrian data protection authority.
