Two ways to ship binoculars to Syria

If you buy binoculars yourself from a store that delivers inside Turkey, enter the receiving-centre address with your name and box number, and the order is logged to your account. If the store rejects your card or asks for a Turkish phone, send the links with Buy for Me. Parcels stay free at the warehouse for up to 30 days so you can combine orders.

Transit time and mode

The parcel travels by land from Turkey, and transit is about two weeks once the shipment leaves, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.

How the price is worked out

Syria has published reference rates by region; a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) runs from 15 US dollars for the northern governorates to 20 for Damascus, customs excluded, and the price is confirmed per shipment. Binoculars are fairly compact but sensitive to knocks, so ask for them in their original case inside a padded carton; air suits them, and combine them with camping gear in one parcel.

Magnification and lens

The first number, such as 8 or 10, is magnification and the second, such as 42, is lens diameter in millimetres. Higher magnification shakes more by hand, bigger lenses gather more light but weigh more; 8x42 is a balanced choice. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
