Two ways to ship pens and fountain pens to Syria

If you buy pens and fountain pens yourself from a store that delivers inside Turkey, enter the receiving-centre address with your name and box number, and the order is logged to your account. If the store rejects your card or asks for a Turkish phone, send the links with Buy for Me. Parcels stay free at the warehouse for up to 30 days so you can combine orders.

Transit time and mode

The parcel travels by land from Turkey, and transit is about two weeks once the shipment leaves, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey to the warehouse. Once it arrives, the parcel is delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and other cities, and you follow each step from your account.

How the price is worked out

Syria has published reference rates by region; a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) runs from 15 US dollars for the northern governorates to 20 for Damascus, customs excluded, and the price is confirmed per shipment. Pens are very light and small, so combine them with office supplies and pencil cases in one parcel; air is usually best. Bottled ink should be sealed well inside a bag.

Engraving and calligraphy pens

Many Turkish pen shops engrave names on luxury pens, which adds preparation days before shipping. Arabic calligraphy pens with angled nibs are widely available thanks to the Ottoman calligraphy tradition, so pick the right nib width. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.
