Shipping Company from Turkey to Jordan: What to Check

Before choosing a shipping company from Turkey to Jordan, ask five things: how it prices (actual or dimensional weight), when you pay, whether it combines and stores your orders, how you track the shipment, and who contacts you when something goes wrong. At MarkaShip shipping is charged after weighing at the warehouse and before dispatch, parcels stay free for up to 30 days for consolidation, and it goes by land or sea depending on the shipment: land takes about two weeks and sea one to two months, with the mode and schedule fixed before departure.

Pricing and payment

Ask the company whether it charges on the greater of actual and dimensional weight, and what formula it uses. When do you pay, before or after weighing? At MarkaShip shipping is calculated after weighing at the consolidation centre and paid before dispatch, and the 8% Buy for Me commission is shown separately from shipping.

Consolidation, storage and checks

A good company combines your orders from several stores into one parcel, gives you enough time to consolidate, and checks items on arrival. At MarkaShip parcels stay free for up to 30 days, and you can ask for items to be checked before the parcel is closed.

Transit and delivery in your city

Ask for realistic timing, not promises: it goes by land or sea depending on the shipment: land takes about two weeks and sea one to two months, with the mode and schedule fixed before departure, after the store’s own delivery inside Turkey. Ask whether delivery is to your door in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba, or to a pickup point.

Support and what happens when things go wrong

Find out how you reach the company and in which language, and its policy when an item arrives damaged or wrong, or is delayed at customs. MarkaShip communicates in Arabic by WhatsApp and email, and its published terms do not mention shipment insurance, so do not assume any company offers it before you ask.
