Ask three questions before deciding
Is the piece small and light enough to stay with you? Is it fragile or a liquid? Will you need it before you return? If the first answer is yes and the others no, carry it. Sets, cookware, large covers and several pairs of shoes burden the bag and add weight, and the bag’s allowance is set by your ticket and airline, so check it yourself because we do not quote numbers for it.
