Is Shipping Turkey to Syria Customs Included?
The published Syria tables follow two different rules. The tables for the north (Idlib and Aleppo), the centre (Homs and Hama) and the south (Damascus) are marked as excluding customs, while the per-kilo cosmetics table is titled as including customs. Do not compare a figure from one table with a figure from the other until you know what each covers; anything not included is checked with your importer or clearing agent in Syria.

How customs appear in each table
Under the north, centre and south tables the note reads excluding customs, and it covers the medium and large carton, the cubic metre and the ton. The cosmetics table carries including customs in its own title. The difference is printed on the Syria page, so there is nothing to assume.
What this means when you compare
A medium carton to Aleppo at $15 covers transport only, while a kilo of cosmetics at $3 covers transport and customs together. You cannot say cosmetics cost more than clothing just by comparing the two numbers, because one includes an item the other does not.
What we cannot say
The site has no official Syrian source for duty rates or exemption limits, so we publish no percentage or figure for customs on general goods. What is published is only what the tables say; everything else is asked of your importer or customs clearing agent in Syria before you buy.
What to prepare before asking for a quote
Keep each store invoice, describe the contents as they are without changing the value, and give the governorate and the weight or volume after packing. Ask the quote to state what the price covers and whether you pay anything on receipt, since the final figure is confirmed per shipment.
