Volume comes before weight

A lamp, mirror or set of glasses may weigh little yet arrive in a large box with protective filling, and freight charges the higher of actual and volumetric weight. So a light mirror with a big frame can cost like a heavier piece. Ask the store for the box dimensions in centimetres before paying, multiply length by width by height, and compare the result in the calculator.

How to pack fragile pieces

Glass and porcelain need their original box and padding on every side, not paper alone. Wrap each piece separately, put the heavier ones at the bottom and the lighter on top, and fill gaps so nothing moves when shaken. If you buy from a store that ships to our warehouse, ask for double packing on glass pieces.

Check them before they leave

The pieces reach our warehouse in Türkiye where you review them before shipping, and we keep them free for 30 days. Open the box and make sure the lamp works and the rim of the glass is intact, since returning a piece from Türkiye is far easier than from Amman. Photograph what you find at once, then decide whether to ship or order a replacement.

Shipping to Amman, Irbid and Zarqa

Jordan is served by land through Syria or by sea to Aqaba depending on the shipment, and Amman, Irbid and Zarqa get home delivery. Cost and schedule are confirmed before departure, so ask for a quote with carton dimensions rather than weight alone. If there are many pieces, gather them in one shipment instead of several small orders. Published rates are reference rates excluding customs, and are confirmed per shipment once the contents and destination are known.
