Volumetric Weight by Product Type
Puffy, light pieces are usually charged by volume rather than weight: duvets, pillows, puffer jackets and boxed shoes. Ask us for the expected carton size before paying for these types.

Bedding and pillows
Duvets and pillows are light but fill the carton, so their shipping is charged by volume. One thick duvet alone can equal a full carton of heavier pieces, so ask for its calculated size before paying.
Puffer jackets
A puffer jacket weighs little but is bulky when folded, and its packaging swells with it. Several puffer jackets in one order raise the volume faster than the weight, so review the estimate with us.
Boxed shoes
A shoe box reserves more space than the shoe itself. Buying several pairs with their boxes fills a carton quickly, and removing the boxes reduces the volume when you do not need them.
Flat-pack furniture and appliances
Knock-down furniture arrives flat and is charged by volume, and small appliances with large boxes are the same. Read the package dimensions on the product page and send us the link for a better estimate.
